Comic Book Realm

I'm literally covered with comic books here as I'm gearing-up for another shipment. I wait until my shipments meet or exceed $100, so that can sometimes take a while (depending on how many I order each month, which has dipped dramatically lately), and the shipments are usually quite large. There is a ritual to organizing and storing them, and it is lengthy and troublesome.

However, there is a great way to keep inventory online using a community I highly recommend called Comic Book Realm. Not this is not a sponsored post; I just really love this site and the people on it and thought I would share it with you since I'm busy with this stuff offline.

There are a myriad of great features, but the most important one is that you don't have to share your collection, or you can only share parts of it. That way you lessen the chance of your house getting robbed! People can also contact you about buying and selling items and you can garner "friends" from the site as well.

Really kick-ass work by a really nice guy and that always deserves a mention.

Interview with J.M. DeMatteis

I got the chance to speak to author and comic book creator, J.M. DeMatteis about all sorts of things. What you will probably find most interesting is his take on comic book piracy, though the entire interview is a good read. I admit that I am not a very good interviewer, though Mr. DeMatteis made it easy.
